I had a lunch earlier today with two friends. One of them had recently been to Barcelona drinking a lot of cava and stuff. She had a really fun time partying and laying in the sun every day. But she had also had time with visiting Antoni Gaudi´s work, who´s work she called genius. But also that Gaudi was probably high on something; his art was amazing she told me. Story tells that Gaudi went a little bit crazy in his later years …

I guess that being a genius has its prize. Like Stu Ungar? You have to have a madly deeply passion for something to be really good at something. Really freaking good… Or perhaps it’s the passion that drives one crazy? Didn’t Van Gogh cut a piece of his ear of? And aren’t we all going crazy and blind when we are in love with someone? There are thousands songs and books about that, but I have yet to hear anyone being a genius in love.

Like in poker there are times when you really love it, and times that you really hate it. But then there is time when you are not feeling anything for it. You want to move on. Perhaps try a higher stake or something else to get your thrill. You want to feel the passion, you want to feel the pain and ecstasy… But conclusive… Don’t make it take over your life… Play, win and have fun… But don’t let it take over everything. Our you may end up a little bit crazy...
