Recently we wrote about the 1 million dollar bet between three Russian poker players. Alexandr Kostritsyn who just few days ago won the game with Ilari Sahamies seemed to be the first to become a winner. About $50 thousand were left to get to 1 million. Well, it didn’t take him too long to earn them.
On 1st February Kostritsyn won the bet. At 5 pm his balance was $992,509. Zigmund offered him to play Omaha but the last in Alexander’s list was Dwan. 20 minutes of the Limit Holdem $1,000/$2,000 and he got the last 50k. He won the bet with $1,069,899.
Now according to the terms of the bet his opponents KOSTYA_Spb and Dopping have to pay him $25,000 each. Time will show if Alexander goes for another bet. But for now we would like to congratulate him and wish him good luck!
