On the World Series of Poker website there is statistics on which countries have succeeded in winning the latest events in the WSOP and how many in the money finishes each country has. The United States is perhaps not surprisingly at the top with 15 winnings in the WSOP so far.
Besides U.S., there are only two other countries so far that managed to win a Gold Bracelet, which is Russia and Finland. For Russia, it was Full Tilt Poker-professional Vitaly Lunkin who won $1,500 no limit hold'em event with a prize of $628,417. For Finland, it was Ville Wahlbeck that won the $10,000 buy-in World Championship Mixed Event, with a prize of $492,375.
U.S. is also the country which has the most In The Money (ITM) finishes, 1691 in total. Runner-up behind U.S. is Canada with 112 ITM finishes and third is United Kingdom with 33 ITM finishes.
